Typically, a case manager is allowed 30 days to complete a Food Stamp application. However, if you qualify, you could recieve Food Stamp benefits in 7 days. If you would like your case manager to determine if you are qualified for expedited Food Stamps, answer the questions on page 6 of the application.

- money gifted to you
- Social Security Benefits
- SSI
- gambling winnings
- lottery winnings
- retirement income
- alimony

- Total earned and unearned income for this month.

- How much do you and all household members have in cash or in the bank.
- Add up your cash, banking account, savings accounts, etc.
- What is the monthly amount of your rent, mortgage, property taxes, and/or homeowner’s insurance?
- If you pay rent, include that.
- If you pay mortgage, include property taxes and homeowner’s insurance you pay.
- What is the total amount of your electric, water, gas, and/or other utilities this month?(Do not include past due and late fee amounts in the total)
- Past due and late fee amounts do not count because the case manager is looking at what your actual monthly expenses are.
